Storm's Speaking Fees, Terms, & Contact Info

New Fee Structure (as of Feb. 2007): Since 2002, the demand for Storm's keynotes, conversations, and workshops has steadily increased, with corresponding fee hikes.  He has now switched to a sliding scale, with fees determined on a case-by-case basis.

One reason for the change is his broad spectrum of client types. They range from events for large corporations and professional associations with tens of thousands of employees or members, to tiny rural non-profits.  Public clients range from small towns to federal agencies, such as Environment Canada and the U.S. State Department (which has used Storm for half a dozen events in Washington, DC since 2003, and which sponsored his 2006 speaking tour of Poland).

The other reason for the new sliding scale is the nature of revitalization, which often entails working with folks who are in dire straits.  Fees from wealthy cities and large organizations help Storm offer affordable fees (sometimes even pro bono) to struggling tribes, catastrophe-struck regions, etc. in desperate need of economic revitalization, cultural renewal, and/or environmental restoration.

Discounts are available to companies and organizations willing to provide significant promotion for Storm's new book, ReWealth! (from McGraw-Hill, May 2008).

Terms & Policies:
  • Travel expenses are in addition to the speaking fees.
  • A 50% deposit is required to reserve the date for your event and confirm your booking.  The balance is due at the event. Please note that your engagement date is not confirmed until the deposit is actually received. Dates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • For non-English-speaking audiences, simultaneous interpretation is required;  sequential interpretation is not acceptable.
  • Storm's PowerPoint presentation is proprietary (and also contains proprietary material licensed from others), so copies are never made available.
  • Storm uses an integral remote control/pointer that enables him to smoothly blast through his image-intensive presentation, so he always presents from his own laptop computer.
  • Storm does not travel on the day of a presentation, so hotel accommodations the night before and the night after a presentation are a necessary minimum.
  • Storm only flies on United or United-allied airlines, unless these are unavailable.
Storm does both keynotes and full-day workshops.  It's best if you can allocate a full hour for his keynote, as he covers an astonishing spectrum of trends, concepts, and photos. But, he'll work within whatever time slot is available.
to book an appearance, or to discuss your event's special needs.
